Top Music of 2010

Nicki Minaj


2010 has been an amazing year for the music industry. So many unique artists have really made it big time, including the incredible woman shown above, Nicki Minaj. With a brand new album that just came out titled "Pink Friday", Nicki has literally been everywhere. Not only has she been promoting and performing on several talk shows such as Lopez Tonight and Live with Regis and Kelly, but she also released a documentary on MTV called "Nicki Minaj: My Time Now", which I really recommend everyone to see.
2010 has definitely been the year of music, and it's just starting with Nicki Minaj. There are many more other crazy talented musicians, and I have written about some of my most favorite from this year. I hope you enjoy and possibly agree :)

Trey Songz

Trey Songz really became big this year with hits like "Neighbors Know My Name" and a more recent one titled "Bottoms Up". He also has a new CD out, "Passion, Pain and Pleasure". Go out and get it!!

Rihanna

In my eyes, Rihanna has been big for quite some time now, but this year she once again has reinvented herself with a new look AND a new sound. From her new album titled "Loud", she has already released songs such as "Only Girl" and "What's My Name?". I can't wait to hear the rest of her CD!



Enrique Iglesias

Enrique Iglesias has also been around for quite some time now... But this year, with help from the Jersey Shore season 2 promos, he has rushed to the top with his club-favorite "I Like It". Also another one of my favorites, "Tonight" is being played on the radio all over the place. Be sure to go out and get his CD, "Euphoria".



Mike Posner

Mike Posner really became known with his "jam-tastic" song called "Cooler Than Me". When I first heard this song on the radio I thought it was just going to be another one of those one-hit-wonder things, but then his song "Please Don't Go" was released, it really had me going! The CD he has out is titled "31 Minutes to Take Off", which is another one I can't wait to hear.

Lady GaGa and Beyonce

When you think of music in the year 2010, who could forget the epic "Telephone" music video by Lady GaGa and Beyonce?  At almost 10 minutes long, this video is sure to be one of the most memorable in history. If you haven't seen it already (which I'm sure you  have), go look it up and watch it right now!


Nicki Minaj, Trey Songz, Rihanna, Enrique Iglesias, Mike Posner, Lady GaGa and Beyonce are all some of my favorite music artists of 2010 and I will for sure look back on them when I think of this year. I'm asking for all of their new CDs for christmas and I can't wait to hear every single one of them! I am really looking forward to what they have coming out in 2011 as well as other new artists.
